If you need to empty your mags or decrease the amount of gas in them, you can do this by covering the port where the gas comes out of, push on the gas release valve and release the gas slowly. If you let the gas out to quickly, the O-rings can get out of place.
a practice of our group is.....
empty mag by rapid firing...
3 to 5 second jab of gas in magazine...
shoot around 3 times...
store decocked gun...
we NEVER store our pistols empty with GAS
as this could cause o-ring shringkage, drying,
& thus causing it to leak...
As some of them were saying, don't leave your mag empty. I actually saw this yesterday and was just waiting for other replies from tech gurus. From my end leaks usually occurs when the mag is stored without gas. It just needs enough to lock the o-rings in place. don't forget of course to lubricate then you charge(frequency goes with the gas/ gas quality cause some 134a cans has silicone oil incorporated with the gas.
