firefox 11.1v 1200mAh 12C chiklet --> good for PDi-190% spring in stock gears using stock motor
bremenhaus 11.1v 1250 mAh 15C chiklet --> good for PDi-190% spring in stock gears using stock motor
forefox 11.1v 1200mAh 20C chiklet --> perfect for PDi-190% spring in stock gears using stock motor
firefox 11.1v 1600mAh 20C bar type --> perfect for PDi-190% spring in stock or STU gears using stock motor
iMAx 11.1v 2100 mAh 15C bar type --> perfect for SP-140 spring in stock, STU or ITU gears using stock motor
Veslero V2 11.1v 2200mAh 15C bar type --> perfect for SP-150 spring (and up) ITU gears using guarder high speed motor

However, good (and expensive) li-poly batteries needs computerized chargers that limit the charging voltage to 12.6v, balanced each cell (3C1P) at 4.20v, and determine the correct mAh for each specific batteries. Using a pocket balancer-charger alone (though perfect in 1200mAH batts) doesn't maximize 1600mAH (and up) batts' performance. Li-poly's needs to be store-charge when not in use for a long time and needs a perfect discharge from time to time to make the cells well balance during balance charging.

The main objective for all the processes mentioned is the uniform discharge of each cell during operation - when 1 cell is weaker than the 2 other cells, it's performance is also weak. So, it is not actually balancing in charging but well-conditioning to have balance discharge when in use.

Computerized chargers such as iMax (A5, A6, A10), Veslero V6 or Speed EX-1506 are expensive but prolong the life and maintain maximum performance of the li-po batts (and even other type of batteries). Explosion is nearly impossible as it has a max voltage charge, max amp charge, and batt temp monitoring protections which you will program. It also offers a PC connection (via a USB) to map the discharge, balance charge and charging activity, for iMax A10, Veslero V6 and Speed EX-1506 models.

So, if you decide to buy a li-poly (???) and a pocket balancer-charger (instead of a computerized charger), limit yourself to 1200mAh range.
